Fire and Tide is the first in a three book series.

The first two books take place on Alcanz, an island prison, where Azra, our hero, discovers a dragon egg.

The bond that develops puts Azra, and the rest of the residents of Alcanz in danger.

Dragons were suppose to be wiped out and magic banned from everywhere except sanctioned healers.

When news of dragon eggs hatching spreads across the United Isles, the Sacred Blood and the United Isles military start to hunt them down.

Before Azra can accept what bonding with a dragon will mean for him, he has to fight mages, survive natural disasters and accept his fate.

This coming of age fantasy world is sure to satisfy with lots of interesting characters, new worlds and time tested themes.
